Little steps, Big dreams

Six figure salary here we come....🥳🥳

....or so we thought. It was our last day in school, we just finished project defense and we were all beaming with smiles, getting CVs ready and preparing to get our dream jobs.

We had hopes yeah? Big dreams, great plans, that one uncle that promised us 'job' once we were done..😄

Fast forward to after NYSC....majority of us were still home sending out a lot of 'kindly find attached'....Omo, wetin dey sup? 😄

It was during this period I remembered a quote from one of the people I still hold in high regard; Steve Jobs of Blessed Memory.

I remembered a speech he gave where he said "start small, think big. Don’t worry about too many things at once. Take a handful of simple things to begin with, and then progress to more complex ones"

With that in mind, I decided to 'start small'. My first job as a graduate was a factory job, I wash, I sweep, I do literally anything menial required of me, we even had a toilet washing roster😄...

Was I happy at that time? Of course not..but long story cut short, I thank God for growth. I am not where I want to be yet but I am greatful for progress.

It's a throwback story ladies and gentlemen; moral lesson....Start small, think big. Keep that hope alive; you got this 💪
